Description
"On your bikes, get set, go!" – that's the motto between the Danube and the Vienna Woods. Across three exciting day tours, cycling enthusiasts can discover the best cycling highlights in and around Klosterneuburg.
Day 1 takes you along the Danube Cycle Path towards Greifenstein. From there, follow part of the Betty Bernstein Tour around the scenic oxbow lake. Afterwards, either cycle back along the Danube or hop on the S40 train from Greifenstein to Klosterneuburg – where a sensational ice cream from Zuckero awaits as your reward.
Day 2 starts with a quick train ride back to Greifenstein. Continue cycling along the Betty Bernstein Tour, this time on the north bank of the Danube. The route leads you along the Danube Cycle Path to Korneuburg. The highlight at the end of Tour 2 is a ride on the rolling ferry back to Klosterneuburg. And who knows – maybe you’ll be inspired to visit Klosterneuburg Abbey afterwards.
Day 3 offers a range of possibilities: swimming at the Strandbad Klosterneuburg or at Happyland, where both indoor and outdoor pools await – plus plenty of opportunities for sports like climbing, tennis, or canoeing. Aupark Klosterneuburg is also a great option for outdoor fun and movement. Or how about a visit to the alpacas in Höflein?
