Enjoy this beautiful, historic circular route through Gablitz and experience insights into almost 2,000 years of history.
Discover the municipality of Gablitz and its great history. On this hiking/walking route you explore some sights of Gablitz local history, such as right at the beginning of the route or at the starting point the Roman burial site, which dates back to the 2nd century. Or the former residence of the philosopher Ferdinand Ebner, after whom a lane was also named. Another highlight is Höberbachs' stonemason's table and the Eigner house, officially the oldest house in the municipality, with an inner core from the 16th/17th century.

We start at the Roman burial sites from the 2nd century and walk along the main street. Then we turn into Klosterweg, which leads us along the Kirchbergsiedling and past the Robinson playground. Finally, we end up on Hauersteigstraße, which we follow for a short distance toward Dreiföhrenpark. After a pleasant and quiet visit to Dreiföhrenpark, we return along Hauersteigstraße left of the Robinson playground. We continue into Kirchengasse until we reach Klosterweg, turn left and follow Ferdinand-Ebner-Gasse up to the Market Municipality of Gablitz.
