Brief description

A small pleasant walk around the castle in Tribuswinkel

Description

The nature trail in Schlosspark Tribuswinkel is a small and very pleasant round. Besides a great atmosphere of nature, it also offers some information boards that tell about the beautiful fauna and flora in the park. In addition to these information boards, there are also other boards displaying various poems on a range of topics, including the Corona pandemic. The nature trail is good for both the eyes and the soul and serves as a great balance to the stressful everyday life.

Tribuswinkel Castle has a rich history with many former owners. The Starhembergs, the Streun of Schwarzenau, and the Hoyos are just some of the names of the changing owners at the beginning of the castle's history. During the Turkish wars, Tribuswinkel was one of the well-defended refuges for the civilian population. To learn more about the history of the castle, click here!
