Whether in the footsteps of Emperor Franz or Empress Sisi, the monarchy can be felt at every turn in Vienna: Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere Palace, Hofburg Palace, Imperial Crypt, St. Stephen's Cathedral, churches, State Opera, Burgtheater, City Hall.
Vienna has 197 museums. Large parks such as the Stadtpark, Volkspark, Burggarten and Rathauspark are popular Excursion destinations.
In addition to the famous "Wurstelprater amusement park", the Vienna Prater also includes a large wooded area - a former imperial hunting ground.
I (manager of the Sand-Hof) grew up in Vienna and can offer guests lots of information. Please do not hesitate to ask.
I will put together a daily plan with you, where you can visit sights according to your interests in an optimal local and temporal sequence - without wandering around for a long time or losing time driving all over the place. I am happy to enrich your vacation with my tips and knowledge.
We have Vienna tickets and day tickets for public transportation ready for you. We are happy to arrange theater and concert tickets for you to make your visit to Vienna unforgettable.
In our breakfast room you will always find the latest offers and brochures.
There are also interesting books in our reading corner, including Chronicle of Austria, Austria I and Austria II (by Hugo Portisch), a booklet about the Central Cemetery with its graves of honor and a book about Kaltenleutgeben.
If you are interested in animal and plant worlds, we also have suitable books for you to browse through in the reading corner.
