Bogenschieß-Parcours in Nöstach "Highland Archery"
Archery, Outdoor adventure
Description
Archery between idyllic meadows and forests with Scottish Highland cattle as onlookers ... and the cow looks on ...
History of the course
For years, a sizeable herd of Scottish Highland cattle enjoyed the meadows and woodland in the idyllic Vienna Woods surroundings in Nöstach. As the herd was gradually reduced in size, the idea was born in 2023 to dedicate the vacated land to archery.
Initially starting with a 3D course, several 3D course variants will be available on the extensive property.
Once these have been established, the intention is to also offer experienced competitive archers a challenge by building one of the rare field courses.
Due to the higher technical demands and challenging nature of a field course, it is only open to members of the UBSC Artemis Nöstach - Highland Archery
only members of clubs of the Austrian Archery Association (ÖBSV).
Archery - our courses:
At the moment there is a 3D course with 32 animals, this will be extended in the course of the year.
A field course is also currently under construction.
There are 32 targets on our 3D course (large round), sometimes more. The course alternates between meadow and forest sections. Depending on the weather, the position of the sun or the time of year, this results in interesting and varied lighting conditions!
Alternatively, you can shorten the round (small round) and shoot at just 16 animals
Children from the age of 8 are permitted to take part in archery
Persons up to the age of 21 are considered young people
