Castle, castle park - Wasserspielplatz Bad Vöslau

The spa town is home to a variety of attractive gardens and private gardens. The picturesque castle park right next to the town hall with its historic fence vases, imposing giant plane trees and water playground is a meeting place for the whole family. The drinking fountains, Linda the manatee and the historic thermal bath point to the special treasure that is thermal water and invite you to explore the town in the footsteps of water.

The Bad Vöslau castle park covers an area of 6 hectares. It was designed in the style of English landscape gardens and, together with Bad Vöslau Castle, forms the heart of the town.

In the middle of the park is an imposing 200-year-old plane tree that has provided shade for many generations. There are around 400 trees in the castle park - including over 45 tree species. Special trees along the footpaths in the park invite visitors to discover them and are marked with tree labels in German and English. In addition to the trees, it is above all the baroque and contemporary sculptures that give the palace park its charm.

Other horticultural gems include the revitalized Capitulare Garden in Gainfarn Castle, the Apothekergärtchen at the Apotheke zum Erlöser, the Kurpark on the edge of the Vienna Woods Biosphere Reserve, the forecourt of the thermal baths with its historic flowerbeds and wonderful examples of private show gardens.
In Bad Vöslau, the emphasis is on naturalness. There are also "small summer meadows" in the town area, which are not only a colorful eye-catcher, but also attract bees and other beneficial insects.
