Icelandic horse stud farm of Babenberg

Horseback riding

Description

...the happiness of the earth lies on the backs of horses!

The Babenberg Icelandic horse stud is very keen to introduce young and old horse enthusiasts to riding. In order to achieve this, a well-trained team of school horses and riding instructors is available for lessons. The herd of four-legged trainers currently comprises 14 Icelandic horses and two ponies.

Lessons take place every day except Tuesday - please contact the stable office or call0676/617 49 92 to arrange riding lessons.

As handling the horses is part of the training, riding students are asked to arrive at the stables half an hour before the lesson starts. During this time, they will learn how to groom and saddle their horse independently. They handle the horses at their own risk. Helmets are compulsory for riding lessons and guided rides.
Blocks of ten are valid for six months.
