Description

The Porcelain Museum at Augarten tells the fascinating cultural and design history of Viennese porcelain since 1718. An original kiln stands as a symbol of the "secret art" of porcelain production, and special exhibitions invite visitors to travel back in time between tradition and the future. The workshops of the Augarten Porcelain Manufactory are open to the public on guided tours.

Bus/Train
From Vienna Praterstern station, take bus 5b to the "Wien Taborstraße/Heinestraße" stop. From there it is about 3 minutes on foot.
You can also take streetcar line 31 to the stop "Obere Augartenstraße".

The "Obere Augartenstraße" cycle path leads directly past the Excursion destinations.
