Description

The merry-go-round in Hrabalek Park (in the Bohemian Prater) with its twelve wooden horses is Europe's oldest merry-go-round. Built in 1890, the carousel and organ were driven by hand by staff in the cellar, and it was only later that a motor was installed. In 1984, the carousel was placed under a preservation order due to its uniqueness and extensively renovated.
