Schloss Purkersdorf

Former moated castle, once the administrative center and local museum for the entire Vienna Woods region. It stands to the west of Purkersdorf's main square behind the parish church of St. Jacob the Elder. Four three-storey wings are arranged around a rectangular courtyard. There is also a two-axis porch with a tower-like risalit and gate.

Today, the castle houses the Purkersdorf District Court, the Purkersdorf City Museum, a medical practice and private apartments.
