Triestingtaler Heimat- und Regionalmuseum

The only museum for local history, with an overview of the entire valley - 12 communities - a museum within a museum; founded in 1987; open April-October Sun. and public holidays 13:30-17:30 and for groups of 7 persons or more all year round also on weekdays by appointment on 02674/87822 or 02674/87574.

The cultural heritage of the 12 Triestingtal communities is preserved for posterity in 8 rooms with 9,460 exhibits. Exhibits from the present and past working world in our industrial, craft and agricultural businesses as well as artistic contributions are on display. From the industrial age of the k. u. k. Monarchy to the great daughters and sons of the region. Insights into the diversity of nature are also fun for children.

Opening hours:
From April 1st to October 31st on Sundays and public holidays from 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
Guided tours for groups of 7 people or more are also possible on weekdays all year round by prior arrangement!
