At Gasthof Martinek in Baden, the main actors at the stove usually have one thing in common: they all have a regional origin. Landlady Gabriele Martinek takes care of the purchasing herself. Short delivery routes and knowledge about the origin of the products ensure a lasting taste experience for guests. Chicken and turkey are supplied by the Hermine Wech farm. The pork thrives in the Tullnerfeld. The inn is famous for its roast onion from the ALMO Beiried and Martinek's beer roast, which is marinated with malt beer and honey and served with bread dumplings and warm bacon and cabbage salad.

The history of the restaurant dates back to 1912. Back then, it was run as a department store, but a new business model followed with Gasthaus Martinek, which focused on culinary delights. Gradually, the range was expanded. Today, the inn presents itself in a contemporary way - but does not forget its traditional values. The inn at the foot of the Helenental valley offers a cozy ambience and meets all the requirements of a classic inn with its parlor, guest room and ballroom. The friendly service staff deserve special mention. In addition to the culinary focus, guests with an affinity for culture also get their money's worth in Baden. The theater, casino and summer arena provide a fine cultural offering.
