Murtingers Landgasthof
Tavern / innThis business is excellent…
Description
The chef himself cooks here.
Don't be surprised if Gerhard Murtinger leaves the house shortly after your order. He then goes to the field to fetch vegetables and to the stream to catch fish... Okay, that was cheating. But believe us, it tastes like it is. Fresh and healthy ingredients are a matter of honor at Murtinger's Landgasthof. Organic, of course! The result will convince you. Or as Gault Millau said: "An inn just the way we like it!" We don't want to contradict that.
We move with the times - with the seasons.
Mother Nature herself puts together the best menu. The perfect ingredients for fresh seasonal dishes are available at any time of the year. And you shouldn't miss out on them. From fresh asparagus to the best chanterelle dishes, pumpkin in all its variations and venison. You won't miss any of it with us. The chef recommends: enjoy!
The sweet temptation.
When it comes to the most important Austrian-Bohemian invention of all time, we're not quite sure: is it the ship's propeller or is it apricot dumplings? Well, ships rarely pass by Murtinger's Landgasthof. However, our fresh homemade cakes, tarts and dumplings are almost always available. And one thing is for sure: if it weren't for the temptingly fruity apricot dumplings, many of our guests would be completely without drive despite the ship's propeller.
The perfect accompaniment.
Better to be too thirsty than too hungry. We serve our delicacies with the best liquid accompaniments we could find: First-class wines from Lower Austria, Styria and Burgenland as well as fresh draught beer from Wieselburger, Budweiser. Do you already know the red Zwickl? If not, it's about time.
