Why "Zur Tankstelle"
Until the early 1980s, the Marker family from Großau ran an "Elan" petrol station at this location. This is why many locals still know this location as the "Marker petrol station". Around 40 years later, the Kainz family reactivated this location as a Buschenschank (typical tavern). It was particularly important to us to incorporate part of this name into our summer tavern. We therefore decided to call our Buschenschank (typical tavern) "zur Tankstelle".
