Since 1959, the 47er Schwertführer winery has been a family business with a passion for wine. All generations put their heart and soul into their work - and you can taste it.
Certified as "Sustainable Austria" since 2023, the 47er rely on resource-saving solutions such as taking back bottles of all sizes. With awards such as the two-time "Lower Austrian Winery of the Year" title, multiple national and state winners and countless other gold medals, one thing is clear: top wine is produced here!
The wine tavern, run by sisters Anna and Katharina, is particularly cozy. On Fridays and Saturdays there are hot and cold dishes of handmade quality - and of course around 50 different wines to taste.
Good wine naturally calls for good food. At the Schwerführers, it is homemade, including warm classics such as Surschnitzel, Hendelhaxerl and roast pork, as well as a selection of crisp, fresh salads and vegetarian dishes. There are also cold delicacies such as spreads and cheese.
