Description

Hops and malt - The Triestingtal forest beer

Old craft meets new ideas. The kettles are steaming at Pottensteiner Privatbrauerei Poidl Bräu. Hand-brewed and unfiltered beers in different styles are created by the master brewer and brewed with dedication. The love of craftsmanship merges with state-of-the-art technology.

Young pine shoots from the Triestingtal valley are used in the brewing process for the "Waldbier". These provide the typical slightly resinous taste, which harmonizes perfectly with the basic bitterness of the beer. The high-quality Pottenstein spring water from the Antoniusbründl also contributes to the perfect quality of the beer, along with the best malt and hop varieties and yeast. And after the beer has been brewed, the spent grains are processed in the Heurigen kitchen to make things like Trebern bread, Trebern strudel or Trebern breading for schnitzel.

The beer tavern invites you to taste well-known and new types of beer and to enjoy culinary delicacies refined with spent grains and beer.
