Bahnhof Rekawinkel

Train station

Description

Rekawinkel station is located in the village of the same name in the municipality of Pressbaum on the main ridge of the Vienna Woods.

Since 2018, the listed station has been able to shine in new splendour, albeit in its old guise, as the historic walls have been preserved but modernized and now offer barrier-free and convenient access to the railroad services along the Westbahn line. The pedestrian passageway and elevator facilities promise a pleasant stay at the station, which was first opened in 1858. The digital train destination displays and the installed ticket machines also offer added convenience.

50 parking spaces for cars and mopeds are available at the adjacent Park & Ride facility, and more than 25 bicycles can be parked at the Bike & Ride station.
