Welcome to the Rumpler winery/ wine tavern!

We at the Rumpler wine tavern are a real family business in the 5th generation. Franz and Barbara and their 3 children are fully committed to the business.

Cellar master Franz proves that he has a good hand for pressing high-quality wines. His wife Barbara runs the wine tavern, where there are various cold and hot delicacies from the buffet to accompany the wine and a cozy atmosphere invites you to linger longer.

A total of 5 hectares of vineyards are cultivated on the slopes of the Lindenberg.

Wines

Half of our vineyards are planted with red and half with white wine varieties. The vineyards are located on the slopes of the Lindenberg on the Gainfarner and Leobersdorf sides.

Blauer Portugieser and Zweigelt are the main red wine varieties, supplemented by Pinot Noir and Cabernet Souvignon, some of which are matured in small oak barrels. A fruity rose is regularly made from Zweigelt grapes.

The white wine varieties Grüne Veltliner, Neuburger and Müller Thurgau account for the majority of our white wine grapes. Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Traminer, our white wine specialties, thrive in our best vineyards. In suitable years, Traminer, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc are also pressed into late and Auslese wines and vinified as sweet wines.
