Starting from Bad Vöslau, families can enjoy plenty of cycling fun in the Vienna Woods! One of the highlights is the section of the route between Leobersdorf and Trumau, where adventurers of all ages can discover animal encounters big and small.
Between Leobersdorf and Trumau, beginning in Bad Vöslau, lies a special cycle route for nature-loving families and cycling enthusiasts – set in a natural gem between “water forest and dinosaurs”!
Dinosaurs? Weren’t they extinct ages ago? Not on the Triestingtal Cycle Path! This route takes you right past Dinopark Tattendorf, home to 60 life-sized dinosaurs.
From there, the trail leads directly into the mystical floodplain landscape – a unique ecosystem that could easily be described as a “water forest”. Expect frog concerts, birdsong, and a variety of aquatic plants – including some rare species. Stay curious and see which native and “prehistoric” creatures you can spot along the way!

Children’s and adult bikes can be hired from Bobby Sport in Leobersdorf or Bike 2 Train in Baden by booking in advance. A full range of services is also available at the bike service station located right next to Baden’s train station.
