The Thermenradweg and Triestingaucycle paths run alongside rivers and offer constant views of the green Vienna Woods and its vineyards. Away from these well-known routes, the Triesting-Gölsental Cycle Path beckons. This route connects the Vienna Woods with the Mostviertel region and promises alpine variety and unforgettable panoramic views.
Cultural highlights on two wheels
The Klöster Kaiser Künstler Tour (Monasteries, Emperors and Artists Tour) is particularly fascinating with its mixture of nature and culture. This tour, which combines sporting ambition with historical discoveries, leads along picturesque rivers and through the romantic Helenental valley. Art and culture from up to 900 years of history can be discovered along this route. It reveals the highlights of the Vienna Woods and combines sporting activity with cultural discoveries.
A very special cycle route for touring with a "trekking e-bike" or "e-MTB bike" describes what made the Vienna Woods so special as the seat of monasteries, the imperial family and artists on a very varied 60 km route.
Attention: The cycle path is closed in the area Essentherstraße/Alleegasse up to Berndorf Factory from August 15 to September 5 due to forestry work. On weekends, the cycle path is repeatedly reopened (Fridays from 6:00 pm until Monday 6:00 am).
The 60-kilometer-long Triesting-Gölsental Cycle Path is one of the top cycling routes in Lower Austria and ideally connects the Thermen with the Traisental cycle paths.
The Helenental cycle path starts in Baden and takes you through the beautiful spa town of Baden and on along the Schwechat river through the romantic Helenental valley. Almost the entire cycle path leads through the forest and is particularly refreshing in summer. One of the most beautiful cycle paths in the Vienna Woods.
A very nice excursion cycle route for a leisurely cycle tour through beautiful countryside mostly along the Laabentalbach stream.
On the Vienna Woods Cycle Tour, you can easily cycle a total of 215 kilometers through the diversity of Lower Austria. You will encounter water, forest and wine along the way.
