Mountainbiker Fair Play

Common rules of the game ensure that the woods will continue to be a unique recreation space, living space and workplace for everybody in the future as well.

Fairness and mutual consideration form the foundation of cooperation and the protection of the diverse interests regarding the woods. Thank you for respecting the following guidelines:

  1. The marked cycling routes may only be used during the following contractually-fixed time frames:
    March, October                       09:00 – 17:00
    April, September                     08:00 – 18:00
    May – August                           07:00 – 19:00
     
  2. Respectful interaction with landowners, hunting personnel and forest personnel!
     
  3. Consideration for other forest users!
     
  4. Riding with short-range attentiveness and at a sensible speed!
     
  5. Caution with regard to work machines, wood or potholes on the carriageway, grazing animals and motor vehicle traffic!
  6. (Forest roads are operating and working areas)
     
  7. Compliance with the road traffic regulations!
     
  8. Consideration for cleanliness in the natural environment!
     
  9. Equipment control and the wearing of helmets!
     
  10. It is illegal to cycle off-track  and outside the approved hours. Be aware of driving bans and barricades!
     
  11. Use of the cycling routes at one’s own risk!
