Description

Changing exhibitions with local and national relevance, the extensive presentation of the town's history from the beginning of settlement, the remarkable medical history library of the anatomist Joseph Hyrtl and a geology department make a visit to the museum in Mödling interesting. The finds from the Avar period are unique in the world. The museum park was opened to the public in 1956 and is looked after by the municipal gardening department. The Mitsuko Coudenhove-Kalergi Memorial Zen Garden is also located there.
