Description
In 1753, Father Edmund König from Heiligenkreuz am Hafnerberg held a great sermon - one hundred years after a wayside shrine had been erected here and a magnificent pilgrimage church built from 1729.
The construction of the church was a major concern for many people from different backgrounds. They all left their mark, be it through donations, gifts and votive offerings, or pious works and prayers.
Let Fr. Edmund and quotes from his sermon guide you through the treasury and immerse yourself in the world of Baroque art, culture and piety!
"... where art goes hand in hand with preciousness,
and value contends with delicacy for preference ..." P. Edmund König
