Heuriger Michaelerhof

Heuriger wine tavern

Description

Traditional wine tavern of today. As a rest stop during a day trip or as a place for family celebrations - the Breyer family has been looking after the physical well-being of its guests in the heart of Pfaffstätten near Baden since 1919. Some things have changed over the last hundred years, but the demand for quality and regionality has remained unchanged.

Homemade & naturally matured

From our wine to our warm home cooking: our understanding of quality does not begin with the preparation, but with respect for the ingredients. The demand for quality, the appreciation of home-made and regional products - these are the values that have defined the Michaelerhof from the very beginning.

Fresh open ...

Permanently planted vineyards and no use of soil herbicides determine our natural viticulture. With the help of the technique of spontaneous fermentation, the cider then matures under the supervision of Johannes and Wolfgang Breyer into varietal wines with regional character.

... and oven-fresh

If there are two things that make a wine tavern, it's bread and wine. With spread, smoked meat and cheese or as an accompaniment to down-to-earth delicacies - the pastries are always there and that's why we still make ours ourselves. If you want to experience Michaelerhof delicacies at home, we also offer our specialties to take away. The homemade sourdough bread is available to order every Thursday.
