Mostheuriger Reisberg

Heuriger cider tavern

Description

A lovely place to linger!

The Reisberghof (also known as Handelhof) is located on a former hiking trail from Thenneberg to Schöpfl at 550 m above sea level. The Reisberghof was first mentioned in 1454. This farm is located close to a protected 1000-year-old lime tree with a magnificent view of the southern part of the municipality. The farm has been owned by the Auer family since 1955.

Several days a year, a Tavern is held here, which is very popular and attracts many visitors from near and far. With a tasty snack made from home-produced food (slaughtered on the farm) and wholesome fruit cider, you can either fortify yourself in the cozy farmhouse parlor or, when the weather is nice, enjoy the wonderful view of the municipality from the garden.
