ÖBB – Rapid Rail & Regional Trains
ÖBB trains are available for your journeyto and from the city. The quickest way to reach the town of Baden is by taking the CJX9 line (non-stop from Vienna Meidling or Wiener Neustadt Central Station to Baden). You can also reach the towns of Mödling and Baden quickly on the REX trains, which run everyhalfhour between Vienna (Meidling) and Wiener Neustadt. The towns along the ‘Genussmeile’ (Mödling, Guntramsdorf, Gumpoldskirchen, Pfaffstätten, Baden and Bad Vöslau) can be reached by the rapid transit trains running hourly.

Wiener Lokalbahnen – Badner Bahn
From Vienna Opera via Vienna Meidling, running every 15 minutes. Stops: Guntramsdorf, Traiskirchen or Baden

Gumpoldskirchen
Walk from Gumpoldskirchen railway station – boarding points: 15-minute

from Gumpoldskirchen railway station to the Gumpoldskirchen Melkerhof car park (towards Mödling) & Gumpoldskirchen Satzingerweg boarding point (towards Baden)

Traiskirchen
Walk from the Traiskirchen Lokalbahn station – Traiskirchen boarding point: 45-minute
shuttle service from Traiskirchen, running on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 7:30 p.m. (every 30 minutes)
from the Traiskirchen Lokalbahn stop to the Traiskirchen ‘Genussmeile’ (Schafler Winery) boarding point 

Pfaffstätten
walk from Pfaffstätten railway station to Pfaffstättner Blick: 15-minute

Bad Vöslau

Baden
Walk from Baden railway station to the Germergasse/Goethegasse boarding point: 20 minutes
walk from Baden railway station to the Waldgasse boarding point: 45 minutes

Shuttle bus through Baden
Shuttle buses running a shuttle service, Saturday & Sunday from 12 noon – 7.30 pm (every 15 minutes)
Baden railway station – Pick-up point: Baden Germergasse/Goethegasse – Pick-up point: Baden Trostgasse – Pick-up point: Waldgasse (towards Sooß-Bad Vöslau)

Important note on shuttles
The ‘Genussmeile’ shuttles are free for visitors, but are not part of the public transport network. Waiting times may occur during periods of high demand.

Weinbergstraße (L 151) is a one-way road from Gumpoldskirchen towards Pfaffstätten and from Baden to Bad Vöslau. The right-hand and left-hand lanes respectively will be available as parking lanes (on Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm).

Please note: the Park & Ride facilities at Mödling and Baden railway stations are free of charge only for public transport passengers. The ‘Genussmeile’ shuttles are free for visitors and are not part of the local public transport network. 

Coach operators are requested to use the official coach parks in Baden and Gumpoldskirchen. It is essential to check the available access routes in advance.
