Achau railway station

Train station

Description

The large station complex at Achau station is a sight to behold - in many respects. The 2020 renovation was all about ecology and innovation, so special attention was paid to nature and crossing aids and wildlife passages were taken into account during the planning and implementation of the renovation work. A modern and completely barrier-free environment was created for guests of the railroad, which offers digital train destination displays and monitor timetables as well as the installation of a ticket machine. Glazed lifts and light-flooded waiting areas on the platforms provide the best possible travel comfort. A number of parking spaces for cars and mopeds as well as the Bike & Ride station also contribute greatly to a relaxed train journey.
