Bad Vöslau train station

Train station

Description

Bad Vöslau station has been modern and barrier-free since 2013. Three elevators were retrofitted and the platform edges were raised. In order to offer passengers the best possible service, waiting booths, automatic train destination displays and a guidance system for the blind have been upgraded. Almost 400 parking spaces at the Park & Ride facility and space for 330 bicycles in the Bike & Ride area round off the comfort requirements of rail passengers.

Bad Vöslau station is connected to the Südbahn railway network and therefore serves ÖBB regional trains. Trains on the S3 and S4 rapid transit lines also run on the three platforms. You can change to the connected bus lines not far from the station building.

Vöslau thermal baths

The Bad Vöslau thermal baths are just a 15-minute walk from the station. The imperial ambience of the outdoor pool is permanently noticeable, as is the revitalizing effect of the mineral water in one of the two pools. The nostalgic flair and the dreamlike backdrop offer moments of relaxation just like in the days of the summer resort.

Thermal spa region "Austria's Burgundy"

The Guntramsdorf and Bad Vöslau wine-growing regions were merged under the Wine Act of 1985. Around 2500 hectares of vineyards cover many of Lower Austria's catchment areas. Around 1800 hours of sunshine a year are recorded in this region and favor the cultivation of many grape varieties, which are found almost exclusively in the Pannonian climate of this area.

Tip: There is a nextbike rental station right next to the train station. The bikes are available in Lower Austria from April to mid-November. You can find more information on the website https://www.nextbike.at/de/niederoesterreich/, or in the nextbike app.
