Description
The Pfaffstätten local history museum displays objects relating to the history of the village, the oldest of which date back to the late Bronze Age. However, the collection focuses on viticulture, with a historic wine cellar in the former winegrower's house, in which the museum is housed, providing the appropriate ambience. Also noteworthy is the collection on the subject of resin extraction, the pecher trade and matadors.
The museum has existed in its present form since 1985 and has been constantly expanded.
