Description
On a tour of the extensive early Baroque monastery complex, you will discover traces of the Carthusian monks who lived here in solitude and silence, learn more about the time of the poorhouse, the decay and the gradual restoration since 1984 by the Federal Monuments Office.
The monastery church, the richly decorated imperial wing and the imperial garden with its historic roses, the large cloister and the adjoining monks' cells are particularly noteworthy.
