Description

The museum houses an important picture gallery, sacred objects and furniture. The highlight is the altar of the Master of Scots. As part of the Saturday tour, you will see the church, the Romanesque chapel, the crypt, the mausoleum, the prelate's hall, the museum and the library - the largest private library in Vienna.

Public transportation

Bus/Train
From the subway station Schottentor you can take the bus line 1A to the museum and then walk for about 2 minutes. You can also walk directly from the subway station, which takes about 5 minutes.

Cab
There is a cab rank 250m away from the Excursion destinations.

Other public transportation options
You can take the U2 underground line or streetcar line D to the "Schottentor" stop.
