The Rudolfshöhe Observation Deck
The trail markers guide hikers through the Purkersdorf Nature Park, deeper and deeper into the forest, and lead them directly to the Rudolfshöhe.
On the ground floor of the observation tower, there is a room with benches and a large table. The area around the Rudolfshöhe features several outdoor benches and tables, and to our surprise, there’s even a summit cross here.
Good to know: Walking time from the parking lot to the Rudolfshöhe is 2 hours.
The view from the Rudolfshöhe is very beautiful; hikers can enjoy a view all the way to Vienna and, on the other side, of several mountains in the Vienna Woods. On clear days, you can also see the Schneeberg and the Ötscher.
