Café Corso

In the middle of Pressbaum and just a few steps away from the train station, directly at the intersection to Sacré Coeur, Café Corso has been open since March 2016

No matter what time you come to Corso, here you can have breakfast, a coffee, satisfy your hunger in between or end the day with a cozy beer!
Apart from our love of visual and functional details, we offer a number of exceptional features.

First of all, it is state of the art coffee at the bar at an unbeatable price. As is customary in Italy, we serve it "al banco". This means that you pick up your espresso or cappuccino at the bar yourself and drink it standing up or at the high tables in the bar area. The best Illy/Trieste espresso costs just € 1.20 and the cappuccino € 1.50.

Selected beers such as the Starobrno/Altbrünner or the "Kozel", the "Grosspopovicer Ziegenbock", also an award-winning Czech beer or the unique Schladminger Bio Zwickl are also available at the "Al Banco" tap. A mug of fantastic beer al Banco from € 3.00, a Seiderl from € 2.00!
You will also find snacks, curries and delicious, mostly home-made pastries and from Monday to Friday a meaty and a vegetarian dish of the day, while stocks last.

Breakfast is of course also available! All day long. Egg dishes, muesli, fruit salads etc. And at the weekend we tempt you with our delicious breakfast buffet. Egg dishes, baked beans, bacon, muesli and cereals, fruit salad, various yogurts, different types of ham, sausage and cheese, vegetable sticks and cream cheese, olives and anchovies. Plus small sweets and 3 different fruit juices!
