Family business.

We "Barbachs" are a family business in its third (and soon fourth) generation. The foundation stone was laid by Hans and Christl Barbach, who still lend a hand wherever necessary. Host Wilhelm Prüfert and boss Kathi Prüfert-Barbach ensure and guarantee the quality of the wine and cellar. Kathi is also the mistress of the kitchen and your cordial hostess (just so you know who to ask) and the youngsters help wherever they can.

We are convinced that if you want to run an outstanding wine tavern, you can't be yesterday's news. On the contrary. That's why we constantly strive to uphold down-to-earthness and tradition and to combine these with the new in an interesting and high-quality way. Be it the wine, which of course comes from our own vineyards. Be it in the kitchen, where we do as much as possible ourselves and are constantly inventing new things. Cultivated hospitality with outstanding wines is our motto.
