The Rathbauer Winery, also known as Wein&Gut, is the labor of love of Rudi and Evi, who met more than 40 years ago and have been sharing their passion for wine, good food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere ever since. Their journey into the world of gastronomy began in 2001 with a small wine tavern in Kottingbrunn, where they made a name for themselves with imaginative recipes and unique furniture. But their spirit of adventure and passion for building drove them onward. In 2006, they began building their country house along the Wiener Neustadt Canal, one of the most beautiful spots in the area. Here, they were able to bring all their travel experiences together in a dream home that is light-filled, spacious, and cozy all at once. With furniture from flea markets, travel souvenirs, and personal items from the many cyclists who followed the construction over five years, the “Wein&Gut – Rathbauer Winery” was born.
