The market town of Oberwaltersdorf in the district of Baden is located on the Triesting river in the Vienna Basin - around 25 kilometers from the city of Vienna. Today's famous residents of Oberwaltersdorf include singer and composer Lore Krainer. Billionaire Frank Stronach, in turn, bought the castle and some outbuildings in the mid-1990s.
