Schwadorf

The market town of Schwadorf in the district of Bruck an der Leitha is located in the industrial district of Lower Austria. In ancient times, the area belonged to the province of Pannonia. The municipality was shaken by a truly devastating event in 1927, when a strong earthquake struck, damaging all the buildings in the village. Neighboring communities were also affected. Today, the local plains of meadows and fields invite you to take long walks. The Schwadorf forest extends as far as the municipal area of the pilgrimage site of Rauchenwarth with the Bründlkirche church.
