Neustift-Innermanzing

Description

The rural community lies on the western edge of the Vienna Woods and was first mentioned in 1519. Since 1910 the name has been Neustift-Innermanzing - because of the imperial and royal post office. The imperial oak, which has been preserved to this day, was planted in 1908 to mark the 60th anniversary of Emperor Franz Joseph's reign. From here you can hike to the highest mountain in the Vienna Woods, the Schöpfl. For cyclists, the Laabental cycle path runs here with connections to Tulln and St. Pölten.
