Augustiner-Trail

Description

Integrated into the Hohe Wand Wiese route, the Augustiner Trail leads on the north side of the Buchberg down to Untermauerbach or Vorderhainbach. This trail can be reached from the north via Hühnersteigstraße (part of the Troppberg route), where you head west to the trail entrance once you reach the top. Coming from Purkersdorf or the Hahnbaumberg, the Augustiner Trail can also be reached via the Hirschengarten and Troppberg I and II routes. The interesting descent leads along the edge of the Augustinerwald settlement through the beech forest and is not too difficult despite some root passages and somewhat steeper sections.

The "Augustiner Trail" is a shared trail! As we bikers respect other forest users, we are also allowed to use certain specially signposted hiking trails in the Vienna Woods.
