Description

The hike begins at Brunn train station and leads through the town center, past the municipal office and the BRUNO event center to Adof Hruza-Straße. From there, the route continues along Liechtensteinstraße and Anton Seidl-Gasse to Sieghartsbergweg, where the actual wine trail begins. We walk past the Hiatahütte and the first display board on the topic of "Main wine varieties in Brunn am Gebirge" with a perfect view of the Vienna Basin and Liechtenstein Castle, past the display boards on the topic of "Buschenschank (typical tavern)" and "Soil" to the Barmhartstalweg.

We continue along Scheibengasse to Mozartgasse and the "Wine products" display board. From now on it goes downhill. We pass the Hauerplatzl, which invites you to linger, and arrive at the Hiatahütte on Kaiserried with a perfect view of Vienna. Via Alois Ramminger-Strasse, we head down to the last display board on the subject of "Organic Viticulture" and on to Leopold Gattringer-Strasse. From there, we decided not to walk along the main road, but via Viktor Adler-Straße and Tierarzt-Ludwig-Müllner-Weg to the parish church before arriving back at Brunn station.

The many wine farms in the village and, in autumn, the Cider and Sturm stands round off this leisurely walk in the south of Vienna.
