Innermanzingerrunde

Despite the most thorough research, routes may be subject to unforeseen short-, medium-, or even long-term closures (e.g., due to restricted forest areas designated by landowners). Some of the parking options we recommend may be privately owned or subject to a fee—please pay attention to the on-site signage. Some trails may pass through sections or entirely through areas operated by entities that charge fees (e.g., nature parks or gorges). However, this is usually explicitly noted in the description. All information is provided without guarantee, and use of the trails is at your own risk. Please observe any trail closures as well as notices from hunters and landowners.

Having the right basic gear is essential for a safe and enjoyable hike. This includes sturdy, well-fitting hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing, and a lightweight backpack. Essential items include plenty of drinking water, a small snack, sun protection (a hat and sunscreen), rain gear, and a first-aid kit. Depending on the length of the hike and the terrain, hiking poles, maps, or a charged cell phone with emergency numbers may also be useful. Your gear should always be tailored to the weather, season, and difficulty level of the route.

We start at the church in Innermanzing, pass the café, and after the department store, turn right toward Schoderleh. Shortly after the bridge, turn right onto a wooden walkway and follow the yellow trail through a farmyard uphill to the hamlet of Schoderleh. Turn left onto the road, and after passing the hamlet, follow the yellow trail markers to the left until you reach the Waldhof. Pass the farm on the right and head uphill along the sunken path, crossing a forest road and continuing to the intersection with Long-Distance Hiking Trail 04. (Optional detour to the left, approx. 300 m: Falkensteinerhütte—open on weekends). At this intersection, turn right (red trail) over the Hametberg to the Stegermaier Inn. Turn right here and follow the red trail toward Forsthof. Turn right at the former Petzwinkler Inn and follow the Windgürtel trail (red) downhill to the intersection, then continue diagonally to the right downhill to the paved road. Follow this road; after passing two farms, turn right across the meadow to the farm in sight. Then head downhill to the left of the road across the meadow. Cross the farm road and go through a culvert across the paddock, continuing to the right past the farm and up a short flight of steps to Adweinstrasse. Follow this road to the right to Höferstrasse, then continue left over the bridge to the former Hellmuth Inn until you reach the main street on the right, leading to the church.
