Description

The Mostalm Trail is often used by hikers and, due to the excessive downhill speeds of many mountain bikers, can only be legally ridden uphill! It leads from the lower end of Kasgraben (at Mauerbachstraße and then immediately to the left before Forsthaus) up towards Mostalm, virtually past the entrance to the Hohe Wand Wiese trail center. Uphill, the Mostalm trail offers exciting root passages and a decent gradient for powering up or for e-bikers. The Mostalm Trail uphill and Wiesn Trail downhill also offer a more challenging alternative to the fee-based trails of the Hohe Wand Wiese trail center.

The "Mostalm Uphill Trail" is a shared trail! As we bikers respect other forest users, we are also allowed to use certain specially signposted hiking trails in the Vienna Woods.

This trail was created by Wienerwald Trails and adapted and built by Wienerwald Trails.
