Description

Cross Lower Austria and its destinations Wienerwald and Mostviertel by mountain bike! Pure variety awaits you on your active vacation trip in the most beautiful natural surroundings - the necessary energy for the meters of altitude and kilometers is provided by numerous refreshment stops along the route, where you can get to know the culinary side of the region. Look forward to three stages of active relaxation: forests, water, mountains, sheep's cheese, natural bathing lakes and much more. - The choice is yours! You can return in comfort on the Mariazell Railway's stairway to heaven.

There are also several places to stop for refreshments along this tour, such as the country inn "Zur Linde", where you can also sleep right away. Many other establishments can be viewed directly on the map.

safety instructions Before every ride, check the functionality of brakes, tires and suspension fork/damper. Always ride with hazard awareness and controlled speed, and adapt the route choice to the riding skills of the group and the surface. Fair play rules must always be observed.
Equipment A safe and functional mountain bike is a prerequisite for all routes. Helmet and gloves protect in case of falls and can be supplemented on single/shared trails with knee and elbow protectors. A modern mountain bike with disc brakes and sufficient tire tread is recommended. For single and shared trails from the red difficulty level, a fully with modern geometry is recommended. Tools, tire levers, pump and spare tube help in case of a breakdown. Sufficient provisions (drinks and food) should also be carried as well as a mobile phone and wind/rain jacket.
