Please note: The trail is closed due to forestry work in the Schutzengelberg area, likely until the end of September! The Scheiblingstein Trail offers a varied route, both uphill and downhill, through beautiful beech forests from Exelberg via Scheiblingstein to Steinriegl.

The Scheiblingstein Trail connects the Sophienalpe with the trail junction at Scheiblingstein. This trail is used for several circular routes in both directions that no longer run on the busy road. The route towards Steinriegl tends to be slightly downhill, but has a few shorter, sometimes steep climbs. The route leads through very beautiful wooded areas and is a varied alternative to the road. We show consideration for all other forest visitors and especially for possible forestry work on this trail.

The "Scheiblingstein Trail" is a shared trail! As we bikers respect other forest users, we are also allowed to use certain specially signposted hiking trails in the Vienna Woods.
