Sooßer Lindkogel Rundwanderung

The Sooßer Lindkogel Trail leads from the Weinbergstraße parking lot along the Kaiserweg, turn right at the Materl onto the farm road “Am Waldrand” to Schönbergstraße, then turn left there and head slightly uphill; at the end of the road, take either the forest road or the marked trail to the “Weißer Weg” (trail). Following the “white-yellow-white” markings of the Weißer Weg, you’ll reach the Hirschboden/Forstweg. From there, continue slightly uphill to the Sooßer Lindkogel (about 20 min) and return along the same route to the Vöslauer hut junction (follow the signs). From there, hike slightly downhill on hiking trail No. 448 over the “Manhartsberg” to the staffed Vöslauer Hütte (check opening hours). Past the Jubilee Cross, a ditch/trail leads to the “Pecherhütte.” From there, you reach the “Gradental” forest road and follow it to the right until you reach the Waldandacht. Follow the forest road past the “Waldandacht” (an older building), continue straight ahead on the Gradenthalweg, then turn left onto the Kaiserweg and follow it to the Martel, keeping to the right until you reach the starting point.

Alternative Route 2 back to Sooß:
At Hirschboden, the “Weißer Weg” joins the forest road/“Haselweg.” Instead of turning right toward the Sooßer Lindkogel, turn left onto the forest road, pass the “Schneebergblick,” and head back to Sooß to the parking lot (approx. 45 minutes).
