Description
The Kaisersteig loop leads from the visitor center, past the Lenau pond, to the Johannstein resting island. From there, follow the signpost Köhlerhausruine via Kaisersteig, which first follows the forest road and later leads into a path. Sturdy shoes and sure-footedness are required as soon as the trail starts to climb. Through the middle of the forest, past different forest communities, you come to a fork in the path at the foot of the Köhlerhaus ruins - from here you can reach the Köhlerhaus ruins in around 15 minutes. The way back leads along the Diana meadow to the "Today for Tomorrow Area" and on to Schacherplatz. Follow the path to Leopoldmühle am Lenauteich, from where you return to the visitor center.
