Description

Directly at the end of the South Tyrolean trail, the uphill trail turns left up a trail (looking uphill). After approx. 350 m, the trail turns steeply uphill to the right and after a few meters branches off right again onto the forest road. This winds its way gently up to the Kahlenbergerdorf section. From here you can turn left towards the Schönstatt trail or Leopoldsberg or right towards Grüass Di a Gott Wirt or the Sauberg or Roan trails. To continue uphill towards Jägerwiese, Südtiroler- and Dornröschen-Trail, turn left at the forest road junction and after approx. 30 m turn right again onto the shared trail (Grünbergweg). This trail is very busy and care must be taken and downhill riding is prohibited. After approx. 800 m you pass the Jägerwiese/GH Agnesbründl and turn left again onto a forest road towards Kahlenberg. On a flat section after approx. 500 m, you finally reach the Südtiroler Trail on the left. If you continue straight ahead for another 200 m, the Sleeping Beauty Trail leaves on the left, the forest road is also lined with boundary stones on both sides at the start of the Sleeping Beauty Trail.

The "South Tyrolean Uphill Trail" is a shared trail! As we bikers respect other forest users, we are also allowed to use certain specially signposted hiking trails in the Vienna Woods. This trail can only be ridden uphill!
