The Troppberg Route III is a 19.46-kilometre mountain bike tour, which is classified as moderately difficult with 473 meters of elevation gain. A particular highlight of this route is the 542-metre-high Troppberg, which offers a magnificent view of Vienna, Tulln, the Wachau and the Alpine foothills with Schneeberg and Ötscher.The route runs through light-flooded beech forests and unspoiled nature, making it an insider tip for nature lovers.Another highlight is the Troppbergwarte, a viewing platform built in 1991 at a height of 24 meters, which offers an impressive panoramic view over the treetops. The route also leads through one of the 37 core zones of the Vienna Woods Biosphere Reserve, which underlines the special nature conservation significance of the region.
