Description

On this tour, you explore the wine landscape of Sooß and Bad Vöslau at the foot of the Harzberg. The way back leads along the 1st Vienna Water Pipeline Wall Trail, which offers a beautiful view of the towns.

The Sooß wine-growing region is located in southern Lower Austria and covers an area of around 200 hectares. The region is known for its red wines, especially Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch.
Bad Vöslau is another wine-growing region in Lower Austria, covering an area of around 500 hectares. The region is known for growing white wines such as Chardonnay and Grüne Veltliner.
Both wine-growing areas are part of the larger Thermenregion wine-growing region, which stretches south of Vienna and is known for its high-quality wines. The winegrowers in Sooß and Bad Vöslau place great emphasis on traditional farming methods and environmentally friendly practices to produce wines that are both delicious and sustainable.
