Description

The Wiesn Trail can be reached via the Sophienalpe in the direction of Mostalm (please avoid high speeds) or the Mostalm Trail past the entrance to the Hohe Wand Wiese trail center. The Wiesn Trail is to the west, right next to the Mostalm Trail and, seen from above, leads to the right (west) of the eponymous Hohe Wand Wiese into the Mauerbach Valley. Initially flat, the technical demands increase relatively quickly due to steep sections and small root steps. Good braking technique is just as important as anticipatory riding and a good choice of line. Once you reach the bottom of the Mauerbachtal valley, the Millennium, Hohe Wand Wiese and Troppberg I routes are ideal for continuing your ride.

The "Wiesn Trail" is a shared trail! As we bikers respect other forest users, we are also allowed to use certain specially signposted hiking trails in the Vienna Woods.

This trail was created by Wienerwald Trails proposed, adapted and built.
